What happens on the day?

Relay For Life

Get excited because the Relay has arrived! Head on down early to check-in and pick up an event program, site map and shirts or merchandise at the registration desk upon arrival.

Here's what to expect at Relay. Check with your Relay community liaison: Supporter Care Team - 1300 65 65 85 | morelandrfl@cancervic.org.au for special info about the Moreland 2018 Relay:

  • Opening ceremony
  • Survivors and Carers walk
  • Candlelight Ceremony of Hope
  • Closing ceremony
  • Entertainment, kids activities, live music and competitions (throughout the day and night)
  • Free breakfast
  • Keep those team members walking!

Your entire team doesn’t have to stay on the track all night, however we encourage each team to have at least one person on the track completing a lap at all times. This will ensure your total number of laps is continuously increasing.

Are you a Survivor or Carer?

Every Relay For Life begins with an Opening Lap to celebrate and support cancer Survivors and their Carers. All Survivors and Carers are welcome to join in—you don't even need to be part of a team. We hope you can join us.
