I relay because I know first hand what great work the Cancer Council does. I never ever in my life of 36 years thought that I would be one to have Cancer but I now battle Stage IV Melanoma which took over my life in December 2016 when we found a tumour in my brain, lungs and back. Part of my "New Normal" life I want to do more and give more and participating in this fun event does both, have a blast of a time and support a great cause. Cancer is something that affects every single person directly or indirectly somehow.
I Relay because I want to make a difference in the fight against cancer. Cancer is one of the leading causes of death in Australia, and together we can change that. Cancer Council’s Relay For Life raises funds for research, prevention and support services for those affected by cancer. By joining my team or donating to me, you will be helping Cancer Council give hope to thousands of Australians.
Thank you for supporting me!
